Tandoori cooking style was brought to India by the Moghul rulers. The Tandoori oven is made of special clay that lends a subtle aroma to the delicately spiced food. Temperatures in a tandoor can approach 480°C (900°F). The searing heat traps the spices and natural juices within the food and it emerges cooked on the outside and moist on the inside, retaining the spices and its natural taste. We use the authentic clay oven “Tandoor” to prepare our traditional tandoori dishes.
